The task flow helped to capture multiple user paths and decisions points in completing the task of creating a reminder and preparing for an upcoming client session.
It also helped to inform all the screen states that would need to be designed for.
To better understand the app's architecture, I developed an application map. It was important before moving into screen design to see their relationships to one another
From the application map, I developed a user flow around a particular task for my persona that was most important based on her goals. I also wanted to communicate the reasoning for each key frame towards the user's needs
Key Frame Sketches
From the user flow and task flows, I developed key frames for the application before moving to digital
From Paper to Prototype
Paper sketches evolved to a medium fidelity prototype, with design refinements happening along the way
